[강릉아메리칸코너] English Lounge Series Program 참가자 모집

“English Lounge Series Program”은 아메리칸코너 시리즈 프로그램으로 미국인 연사가 진행을 맡아 영어로 강연 후 질의 응답하는 시간이 주어지며, 미국 사회와 문화에 대한 다양한 주제를 다룹니다.

1. 9월 7일 (화요일) 오후 3시-5시 “American Music”

2. 9월 14일 (화요일) 오후 3시-5시 “Holiday Season in the United States”

연사: Vanessa Virgiel, English Instructor, Korea Military Academy

대상 :  관심 있는 시민

 내용:
  1. American Music
    - Do you enjoy listening to American music? America is the birthplace for rap, hip hop, country western, blues, and rock 'n roll. In this session we'll look at America's different original musical art forms and its influential artists, and the effect they've had in the U.S. and internationally. (미국의 다양한 음악, 영향력 있는 음악가들과 그들이 미국 내외에 끼친 영향)

  2. Holiday Season in the United States
    - Holiday season in the United States begins in the fall, with both national holidays and special days observed by various peoples showcasing the diversity, multiculturalism, and religious freedom of the United States. In this session we'll look at some of thelargest holidays and how they are usually celebrated by Americans.(미국의 주요한 휴일들과 미국인들이 휴일을 기념하는 방법 소개)
